What are Aromatherapy Oils?
Aromatherapy oils are concentrated distillates of natural plant extracts.
They are extracted by steam distillation or by solvent extraction. Steam distillation is my preferred method to use.
They can be harvested from the roots, twigs and branches, seeds, fruit, leaves and flowers, of both living and dried plants.
They are not really oils, some are resinous, thick, and viscous, some are very thin more like alcohols.
They are volatile, meaning they vary in evaporation rates.
They have very high frequencies of energy some in the millions of hertz.
I see them as the life-force of the plant or Soul, the energy body.
They have various physiological properties depending on the ingredient, that can be anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral naturally.
They have various psychological properties from stimulating, sedating, uplifting, calming, awakening, relaxing, and energizing.
They contain terpenes and when blended skillfully with each other, they can create something profoundly beautiful, like a symphony of frequency that can be felt and experienced in the mind of the user.
Their number one gift to me and my mind is that they bring my focus right into the present moment and allow my mind to be here in the now and able to perceive or feel love, the highest frequency of energy I can access – I have the desire to feel as much love and experience it in my body, mind and Soul as the Source of everything will allow me to do so. I believe that is what my life is about.
This is all from my personal experience, my self study I don’t make any claims, I don’t prescribe or treat anything, for anyone else. This is just my personal study of me and my relationship with aroma-therapy.
